The Sunrise ☼ ☼ ☼

I’ve always loved watching the sunset.  I remember when I was still in grade school; I sit in the middle of the field and watch as the sun sets.  I just find it so relaxing. It makes me feel great… the day has ended, time for me to rest.

The feeling was even greater after watching the sunrise.  I’ve waited from 4am ’til 6am waiting for the sun to come up.  Seeing the sky changes its color while slowly revealing the big and bright sun.  It’s telling me that there is still hope.  New day is about to start.  It makes me look forward for the day ahead.  It makes me feel happy. 🙂

I guess this is what really sunrise is for.  Giving everyone a chance and hope.  A chance to correct things that gone wrong..  And hope that in every dark sky there is always light. We just need to be patient and have trust on Him.

So, in every day that we see the sun rises, we need to look forward on what we can do for this day. And do not forget to do what you have not done yesterday.  Life is short, let’s enjoy every moment that we have  and make the most of it.

The photos below were taken from Voda Krashna Beach Resort, Alcoy, Cebu.  This is where we held our very first team building with the Global Team.

Camotes Island: One of a Place

I had been in Camotes 3 times and I may say I had the best and worst experience in the island.  My first visit to Camotes was last June 2010.  I was with my housemates and Jireh’s mom and sis.  The experience was great except for the place where we stayed.  That was the only place which had vacant rooms (no wonder). All others resort were fully booked.

One of the best places were the Timobo Cave, Santiago and Mongodlong Resorts and the Lake Danao.

A Glimpse to the Oldest City in the Philippines — Cebu City

Cebu City (Cebuano: Dakbayan sa Sugbo; Filipino: Lungsod ng Cebú) is the capital city of Cebu and the second city in the Philippines, the second most significant metropolitan centre in the Philippines and known as the oldest city in the country.

The city is located on the eastern shore of Cebu and was the first Spanish settlement in the Philippines. Cebu is the Philippines’ main domestic shipping port and is home to about 80% of the country’s domestic shipping companies. Cebu also holds the second largest international flights in the Philippines and is a significant centre of commerce, trade and industry in the Visayas and Mindanao region. According to the 2007 Philippine census, the city has a population of about 798,809 people.

Cebu City is the centre of a metropolitan area called Metro Cebu, which includes the cities of Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu and Talisay. Metro Cebu has a total population of about 2 million people. The Mactan-Cebu International Airport, located in Lapu-Lapu City is only a twenty-minute drive away from Cebu City. To the northeast of the city are Mandaue City and the town of Consolacion, to the west are Toledo City, the towns of Balamban and Asturias, to the south are Talisay City and the town of Minglanilla. Across Mactan Strait to the east is Mactan Island where Lapu-Lapu City and an aquarium attraction are located.
