jane I’ve been looking for a camera which is very handy yet had great specs. I was thinking of having the one of the T-series of Sony Cyber shot, however, this just not fit what I really wanted. And finally, I met the Sony Cyber-shot W350. Read further to know why I had chosen this camera except from the fact that it looks really “cute”.
Sony Cyber-shot W350 has 14.1 megapixels producing top quality image, Carl Zeiss® 4x optical zoom , iAuto, Smile Shutter™, Face Detection, Optical SteadyShot™, Sweep Panorama, 720p HD movies. It is slim with the dimensions (Approx.) : W x H x D 3 5/8″ x 2 1/8″ x 11/16″ (90.7mm x 51.5mm x 16.7mm).
And weight (Approx. ) : Body: Approx. 3.5oz. (100g), With battery and Memory Stick Media Approx. 4.1 oz. (117g).
After months of using it, I could say that this is the best camera I ever had. Super handy. I can bring it anytime and anywhere as it can just fit in inside my handbag. Despite of its size, you won’t worry about the quality of the pictures.

Oh I love the Sony Cybershot’s. I’ve had Casio and other brand phones as well, but Sony seems to be the best at putting products together. I don’t know that I’d call it a premium brand because the prices are very competitive, but they are definitely quality products.

Glad to know my wife’s not the ony one who considers how “cute” a camera is before buying! Are you happy with the speed on the Sony Cybershot? We have a Kodak now that is super-slow…it’s impossible to take any kind of action shots (and trust me, my kids run really slow!).
So we’d like something that focuses/shoots a bit faster.

14 megapixels seems crazy because it seems like just yesterday when most cameras had no more than 3 megapixels.
